Test D: DTC U2471 - Unexpected PRNDL State

PINPOINT TEST D: DTC U2471 - UNEXPECTED PRNDL STATE

Normal Operation
The parking aid module (PAM) receives the PRNDL state from the instrument cluster (IC) as a gateway message from the PCM or the transmission control module (TCM).

- DTC U2471 (Unexpected PRNDL State) - is a continuous and on-demand DTC that sets when the PAM receives an unknown PRNDL state message from the instrument cluster (IC).

This pinpoint test is intended to diagnose the following:
- Instrument cluster (IC)
- Network data fault
