Gearshift Knob - Installation

INSTALLATION





NOTE: The clip must be installed with the correct orientation or subsequent knob removals will require much more force.

1. Install the retention spring (1) to the shift knob (3) with the tab (2) facing the instrument panel.





2. Install the collar (1) and the knob (2) to the shifter shaft assembly.
3. Firmly push the knob onto the shaft.
4. Orient the collar so that it aligns with the angle of the knob.





5. Install the collar (1) to the shift knob (2) and seat fully.
