Serpentine Accessory Drive Belt - Removal

5.7L ELECTRONIC POWER STEERING





1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Remove the air intake tube between intake manifold and air filter assembly.
3. Using a suitable square drive tool, release the belt tension by rotating the tensioner (8) clockwise. Rotate the belt tensioner (8) until the belt (2) can be removed from pulleys.
4. Remove the belt (2).
5. Gently release the tensioner (8).
