Steering Column Opening Cover - Removal

REMOVAL

Special Tools:











1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.

2. Remove the center console from the floor panel transmission tunnel. Center Console - Removal.

3. Remove the lower cowl trim panel, Cowl Trim Panel - Removal.

4. Using trim stick (C-4755) or equivalent, remove the I/P end cap.

5. Remove the fasteners (1) securing the lower steering opening trim cover (2).

6. Using trim stick (C-4755) or equivalent, disengage the retaining clips on the lower steering opening trim cover (2) and remove.
