Steering Column Opening Cover - Removal

REMOVAL

Special Tools:










1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Remove the center console from the floor panel transmission tunnel. Center Console - Removal.
3. Remove the lower cowl trim panel, Cowl Trim Panel - Removal.
4. Using trim stick or equivalent, remove the I/P end cap.
5. Remove the fasteners (1) securing the lower steering opening trim cover (2).
6. Using trim stick or equivalent, disengage the retaining clips on the lower steering opening trim cover (2) and remove.
