Shifter Housing - Removal

REMOVAL

Special Tools:











NOTE: Avenger shown, 200 similar.

1. Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable.
2. Using or equivalent, remove and disconnect the HVAC controls (1).





3. Using or equivalent, remove and disconnect the console front storage bin (1).
4. Remove the front console fasteners.





5. Using or equivalent, remove the shifter trim bezel (1).





6. Open the console bin lid and remove the console bin mat/liner.
7. Remove the bolts (1) located inside the console bin.





8. Lift up on the rear of the center console (1), disconnect the wiring harness and remove.
