Engine Coolant Thermostat - Removal

WARNING: Do not remove pressure cap with the system hot and under pressure because serious burns from coolant can occur.

1. Disconnect negative battery cable.
2. Drain cooling system Service and Repair.
3. Disconnect radiator upper hose from thermostat housing (1).
4. Remove thermostat housing bolts (2).
5. Remove housing, thermostat, and gasket.
