Latch - Installation

INSTALLATION





1. Position the liftgate latch (3) onto the liftgate (1) and install the two retaining bolts. Tighten the bolts to 16 Nm (12 ft. lbs.).
2. Connect the linkage rods (2) to the latch and install the retainer clips. Make sure the retainer clips are fully engaged.
3. Connect the liftgate wire harness connector (4) to the latch.
4. Reconnect the negative battery cable.
5. Verify liftgate lock cylinder and latch operation.
