Steering Column Opening Cover - Installation

INSTALLATION

1. Position the steering column opening reinforcement bracket to the instrument panel.
2. Install the screws that secure the steering column opening reinforcement bracket to the instrument panel. Tighten the screws to 2.2 Nm (20 in. lbs.).
3. Position the bottom of the steering column opening cover to the steering column opening reinforcement bracket and install the cover onto the retainer clips of the reinforcement bracket.
4. Carefully raise the top of the steering column opening cover upward and engage the snap retainers to the instrument panel.
5. Reconnect the negative battery cable.
