REMOVAL

WARNING: Before servicing the seat back the airbag system must be disarmed. Failure to do so may result in accidental deployment of the airbag and possible personal injury. Refer to restraint systems for service procedures.






DRIVER SEAT 6 WAY

1. Remove the front seat from the vehicle. Seat - Removal.
2. For the drivers seat illustration Front Seat - Description.
3. Remove the front outboard shield (27).
4. Remove the recliner handle (23).
5. Remove the rear outboard shield (26).
6. Remove the seat buckle bolt (6) and buckle (7).
7. Remove the front inboard shield (8) and rear inboard shield (9).
8. Remove the outboard seat back bolts (22) and the inboard seat back bolts (13).
9. Remove the side airbag harness (21) retainers and heated seat harness.
10. Separate the seat back from the seat frame assembly (21).

DRIVER SEAT 2 WAY

1. Remove the front seat from the vehicle. Seat - Removal.

3. Remove the recliner handle (23).
4. Remove the outboard shield.
5. Remove the seat buckle bolt (6) and buckle (7).
6. Remove the inboard shield.
7. Remove the outboard seat back bolts (22) and the inboard seat back bolts (13).
8. Remove the side airbag harness (21) retainers and heated seat harness.
9. Separate the seat back from the seat frame assembly (21).

PASSENGER SEAT

1. Remove the front seat from the vehicle. Seat - Removal.
2. For the passenger seat illustration Front Seat - Description.
3. Remove the recliner handle.
4. Remove the outboard shield.
5. Remove the seat buckle bolt and buckle.
6. Remove the inboard shield.
7. Remove the outboard seat back bolts and the inboard seat back bolts.
8. Remove the side airbag harness retainers and heated seat harness.
9. Separate the seat back from the seat frame assembly.
