Heater Coolant Heater Exhaust Muffler Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle Service and Repair.





2. Loosen the bolt (1) securing the muffler to the heater coolant heater.

3. Remove the muffler to the heater coolant heater bracket retaining bolt (2).

4. Remove the muffler from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure





1. Install the muffler to the heater coolant heater.

Caution:
Refer to Fastener Caution Fastener Caution.

2. Install the muffler to the heater coolant heater retaining bolt (2) and tighten to 6 Nm (53 lb in).

3. Lower the vehicle.
