Exhaust Muffler Replacement - Right Side

Removal Procedure





1. Lower the rear suspension support crossmember. Refer to Rear Suspension Support Crossmember Replacement .

2. Remove the intermediate exhaust pipes. Refer to Intermediate Pipe Replacement Service and Repair.

3. Disconnect the vacuum line from the muffler assembly, if equipped.

4. Remove the right muffler (2) from the rear exhaust hanger (3).

5. Remove the right muffler (2).

Installation Procedure





1. Using a wire brush, clean the contact area of the intermediate pipe for the muffler.

2. Install the right muffler (2) to the rear exhaust hanger (3).

3. Connect the vacuum line to the muffler assembly, if equipped.

4. Install the intermediate pipes. Refer to Intermediate Pipe Replacement Service and Repair.

5. Install the rear suspension support crossmember. Refer to Rear Suspension Support Crossmember Replacement .
