26. Oil Pump, Screen and Crankshaft Oil Deflector Removal

Oil Pump, Screen and Crankshaft Oil Deflector Removal (6.2L LS3)





1. Remove the oil pump screen bolt (405) and nut (404).

2. Remove the oil pump screen (407) with O-ring seal.

3. Remove the O-ring seal (406) from the pump screen.

4. Discard the O-ring seal.





5. Remove the crankshaft oil deflector nuts (403).

6. Remove the crankshaft oil deflector (425).





7. Remove the oil pump bolts (411).

Note:
Do not allow dirt or debris to enter the oil pump assembly. Cap ends, as necessary.

8. Remove the oil pump (413).
