Drive Belt Idler Pulley Replacement

Removal Procedure




1. Remove the drive belt tensioner. Refer to Drive Belt Tensioner Replacement (Drive Belt Tensioner Replacement).
2. Loosen the drive belt idler pulley bolt.
3. Remove the drive belt idler pulley.

Installation Procedure




1. Position the drive belt idler pulley to the engine and finger starter the pulley bolt.

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution (Fastener Caution).

2. Tighten the drive belt idler pulley bolt.

Tighten the bolt to 50 Nm (37 lb ft).

3. Install the drive belt tensioner. Refer to Drive Belt Tensioner Replacement (Drive Belt Tensioner Replacement).
