Sunroof Housing Front Drain Hose Replacement

Removal Procedure




1. Lower the headliner in order to access the drain hose connections. Refer to Headlining Trim Panel Replacement (Without PLA) (Headlining Trim Panel Replacement (Without PLA))Headlining Trim Panel Replacement (With PLA) (Headlining Trim Panel Replacement (With PLA)).
2. Cut the tie wraps from the drain hoses.
3. Disconnect the front drain hoses from the sunroof module assembly.
4. Remove the interior moldings in order to access the drain hose retaining clips. Refer to Windshield Pillar Garnish Molding Replacement (Windshield Pillar Garnish Molding Replacement).
5. Remove the tape from the drain hoses on the windshield pillars.
6. Remove the front inner wheelhouse liners. Refer to Front Wheelhouse Liner Replacement (Service and Repair).
7. Remove the front drain hose from the inner wheelhouse of the vehicle.

Installation Procedure




1. Install the drain hoses up through the inner wheel house to the windshield pillars.
2. Tape the front drain hoses into position on the windshield pillars.
3. Install the front wheelhouse liner. Refer to Front Wheelhouse Liner Replacement (Service and Repair).

Important: When installing the new drain hose tie wraps, position the tie wraps in order to maintain clearance between the tie wraps and the headliner.


4. Secure the drain hoses to the sunroof module assembly drain spouts with new tie wraps.
5. Install the interior moldings. Refer to Windshield Pillar Garnish Molding Replacement (Windshield Pillar Garnish Molding Replacement).
6. Install the headliner. Refer to Headlining Trim Panel Replacement (Without PLA) (Headlining Trim Panel Replacement (Without PLA))Headlining Trim Panel Replacement (With PLA) (Headlining Trim Panel Replacement (With PLA)).
