Engine Front Cover and Oil Pump Installation





1. Install the engine front cover (1) with a new gasket (2).





Caution:
Refer to Fastener Caution Fastener Caution.

Note:
The center bolt (1) should be tightened last.

2. Install the engine front cover bolts and tighten to 25 Nm (18 lb ft).

3. Install the long water pump bolt (1) and tighten to 25 Nm (18 lb ft).





4. Install the accessory drive belt tensioner (1).

5. Install the accessory drive belt tensioner bolt and tighten to 45 Nm (33 lb ft).
