Battery Heat Shield Replacement (LY7)

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the battery. Refer to Battery Replacement (LY7) (Battery Replacement).




2. Lift the battery heat shield upward from the battery.

Installation Procedure





Important: Ensure the openings in the heat shield are aligned with the battery terminal bosses.


1. Position the battery heat shield downward over the battery.
2. Install the battery. Refer to Battery Replacement (LY7) (Battery Replacement).
