Intermediate Shaft Removal

1. Drain the transmission fluid, then reinstall the drain plug with a new sealing washer ATF Replacement.

2. Remove exhaust pipe A Service and Repair.

3. Remove the right front driveshaft Front Driveshaft Removal.

4. Remove the rear warm up three way catalytic converter (rear WU-TWC) bracket (A).






5. Remove the flange bolt (A) and the two dowel bolts (B).






6. Remove the intermediate shaft (A) from the differential. Hold the intermediate shaft horizontal until it is clear of the differential to prevent damaging the oil seal (B).
