Radiator Fan Circuit Troubleshooting - Short

NOTE: A short in the radiator fan circuit causes the fan to run constantly whenever the ignition switch is ON (II).

1. Disconnect the radiator fan motor 2P connector from the RFC unit.

2. Check for continuity between radiator fan motor 2P connector terminal No. 2 and body ground.





Is there continuity?

YES -

Repair a short in the wire between radiator fan motor 2P connector terminal No. 2 and body ground.�

NO -

Replace the RFC unit RFC Unit Replacement.�
