Adaptive Front Lighting Control Unit Learning Procedure - When the headlight is replaced, or when the adaptive front lighting gearbox is replaced

When the headlight is replaced, or when the adaptive front lighting gearbox is replaced

1. Remove all baggage from the vehicle.

2. Turn the ignition switch to ON (II).

3. Turn the headlights ON.

4. Connect the HDS to the data link connector.

5. Select AFS from the HDS, and enter FUNCTION TEST.

6. Make sure both headlights swing about 20 degrees left and right by the forced operation with the HDS.

7. Make sure both headlights move up and down by the forced operation with the HDS.

8. Check the combination light switch.
