Volume Does Not Change

Volume does not change

NOTE: Set the fader and balance position to the center.

1. Listen for sound from the speakers.

Is the sound normal?

YES - Go to step 2.

NO - Go to audio system sound is weak or distorted, or no sound is heard from speakers.

2. Check the audio information on the display panel control unit (without navigation) or audio-HVAC subdisplay unit (with navigation).

Does the audio information display properly?

YES - Intermittent failure, the system is OK at this time.

NO - Go to step 3.

3. Operate the volume knob to see if the volume changes.

Does it change?

YES - Operation is normal.

NO - Replace the audio unit.
