Air Bypass Valve: Service and Repair




Turbocharger Bypass Control Valve Replacement

1. Remove the charge air cooler cover.

2. Disconnect the turbocharger boost sensor connector (A).





3. Disconnect the vacuum hose (B) and the air bypass outlet connecting tube (C), then remove the turbocharger bypass control valve (D).

4. Install the turbocharger bypass control valve with a new gasket (E).

5. Connect the vacuum hose and intake air duct, then connect the turbocharger boost sensor connector.

6. Install the charge air cooler cover.
