DTC Troubleshooting: B2209

DTC B2209: AcuraLink Control Unit Internal Error

NOTE: Check the vehicle battery condition first.

1. Connect the HDS to the DLC.

2. Clear the DTC with the HDS.

3. Turn the ignition switch to LOCK (0), then turn it ON (II) and wait 30 seconds or more.

4. Check for DTC with the HDS.

Is DTC B2209 indicated?
YES - AcuraLink control unit (XM receiver) is faulty, replace the AcuraLink control unit (XM receiver).

NO - Intermittent failure, AcuraLink control unit (XM receiver) is OK at this time.
